Luigi Lombardi d'Aquino is an italian music composer, orchestrator and conductor, he graduated in Composition and Conducting. He continued his studies graduating the Specialization in composition at Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome and the Accademia Chigiana in Siena.

He has been working for 20 years as a composer, arranger, orchestrator and conductor for Film and Television.

He wrote the arrangements for several RAI TV Shows. He arranged and conducted the orchestra for the discography of Ornella Vanoni, Claudio Baglioni, Andrea Bocelli.

Since 2011 Luigi Lombardi d’Aquino has been assistant to composer Franco Piersanti with whom he made the "Concerto Moretti", a concert by Nanni Moretti (Giury’s President of the Cannes Festival 2012) with music by Piersanti and the Oscar Winner Nicola Piovani, he also realized, with Piersanti, the soundtracks of "Romanzo di una strage" by Marco Tullio Giordana, "L’intrepido" by Gianni Amelio and "Anni Felici" by Daniele Luchetti, "La Stoffa dei Sogni" by Gianfranco Cabiddu.

In 2012 he composed the soundtrack for the short film "BIOS" by Grazia Tricarico.

He performed as keyboard and guitar player with the Oscar Winner Nicola Piovani in the "Viaggi di Ulisse" concert.

In 2014 Luigi Lombardi d’Aquino cooperated with the composer Nicola Piovani as Music Director and pianist for "Twelfth Night, or What You Will" (Shakespeare) for the theatre live perfomance by Carlo Cecchi.

Luigi Lombardi d’Aquino won the international composition prizes (Valentino Bucchi, special mention of International Composition Prize Egidio Carella and the First Prize of Guido Cantelli Foundation) and his music goes trough different genres from contemporary classic music to pop and soundtrack.

In 2018 Luigi Lombardi d’Aquino published four EP wich include his latest compositions.
